Summer Camp Program; Center for homeless alcoholic men, Center
for International Refuges and an English speaking school for
children with learning disabilities; Contribution made to "Medicos
sin Fronteras" to aid victims of hurricane Mitch; annually
sponsor food drives at Christmas for needy families and distribute
grooming items to homeless people. Funds and Fun contributed
to a Center providing refuge to battered and abused women and
children. Contribution made to AWA Kenya Relief Fund.
Special FAWCO Activities:
Assistance with voter registration, FAWCO Foundation Awards fundraising
through International Cooking Demonstrations and Raffle, Organize
annual orientation, FAWCO Wine and Cheese Evening to promote
FAWCO Awareness.

The International Newcomer's Club of Madrid is a non-profit,
non-political, non-religious group organized to promote friendship
in the international community and to share in the cross-cultural
benefits offered by Spain. The purpose of the Club is to offer
individuals the opportunity to become acquainted with other English-speaking
people currently living in Madrid and to foster participation
in the various activities offered by the Club.
